New Zealanders are determined to own their own homes, even if it means buying later and paying for longer. According to forecasts, nearly half the country could still be in debt when they're 70. The Bank of New Zealand's mission is to help New Zealanders be good with money, so to attract new home loan customers, instead of offering low rates and incentives like the competition, BNZ talked about getting out of a mortgage sooner.
