AIG Japan partners with New Zealand’s All Blacks in brand purpose drive

Insurance giant AIG partnered with New Zealand’s world champion All Blacks and Black Ferns rugby teams to launch its pro-LGBT diversity campaign in conservative Japan.

A multi-national insurance company such as AIG perhaps isn’t the first brand that would come to mind as spearheading the diversity cause in conservative Japan, but the company’s move to partner with New Zealand’s world champion rugby teams – the All Blacks and the Black Ferns– on AIG’s #DiversityIsStrength campaign has created a viral sensation with a message.
