Users and ad revenue are flocking to Pinterest, according to the latest company reports. The social platform registered 300 million monthly active users in Q2 2019, up nine million from the previous quarter. This is an increase of 29.9% year-on-year.
Monthly users in the United States remains flat at 85 million, while users in international markets reached 215 million in Q2 2019. This is up 37.8% year-on-year, with Asia Pacific an area of particular interest.
The company suggests this user growth is down to improved search recommendations and more video content and shoppable products.
