Digital-audio advertising tips from Pandora

Pandora, the digital-audio streaming service, noticed a widespread failing among advertisers when it came to reaching users of its platform, and so conducted several studies aimed at establishing some best practices.

Consumers across the United States played back 251.9 billion digital-audio streams last year, according to research firm Nielsen – an increase of more than 75% compared with 2015.

And Lizzie Widhelm, SVP/Ad Product Sales & Strategy at Pandora, the music-streaming service, neatly summarized the bullish feeling about the current health of the industry.

"I think we can all agree that audio is growing rapidly," she told delegates at the 2017 Strategy Festival, an event convened by the 4A's (American Association of Advertising Agencies) in New York City.
