Opening Statement

In Kenya there are more active Facebook users then there are individuals who brush their teeth. With statistics like this Colgate Kenya decided that it was time to take action. Colgate Kenya decided that they were going to offer Kenyan's the opportunity to receive free dental screenings for the duration of Colgate's inaugural Oral Health Month (OHM) initiative in Kenya, and by doing so, create awareness around dental hygiene and promote healthy dental practices.

Burson-Marsteller was approached by RedFuse on behalf of Colgate-Palmolive. Together, alongside Native VML and Y&R, the consortium managed to pitch in and execute a fully integrated, PR led campaign which not only managed to create hype and awareness around OHM, but also drove participants to have their free dental screenings.
