In February 2018, a Facebook post featuring a teacher in Ghana using a chalkboard to teach students how to use Microsoft Word went viral with over 10,000 Facebook Likes and close to 5,000 shares.

That teacher was Richard Appiah Akoto, who was lauded internationally for his efforts in teaching his students about ICT, despite having no equipment in his school to do so.
