Two-thirds of consumers say they play video or mobile games but a majority don't play intensively, according to data across 24 markets by YouGov.
Denmark and Norway are the only markets surveyed where less than half of consumers (45%) say they play video or mobile games, with France (51%) and Sweden (51%) just above the halfway mark.
In contrast, four-fifths of consumers in Thailand (82%) and the Philippines (80%) are gamers, while other Asia Pacific markets follow close behind – Taiwan (77%), Indonesia (77%), Singapore (76%) and Australia (72%). The United States follows, at 71%.
