24% of young Australians say social media gives them anxiety

A summary of Australian consumers' experiences of mental health and social media.

Older consumers are more likely to feel comfortable talking about mental health, according to survey data from target audience company GWI. Around one-half (49%) of Australians aged between 45 and 54 and (53%) of those between 55 and 64 feel comfortable talking about mental health.
