With large swaths of the workforce at home or staying home more to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, people are spending a lot more time in leisurewear, research has found.
According to Adobe Analytics, US consumers in April shifted their apparel purchases toward comfortable at-home clothes. While sales dropped for pants (13 percent), bras (12 percent), and jackets (33 percent), online sales for pajamas increased 143 percent.
