The average cost per thousand (CPM) of advertising across Facebook channels has returned to a pre-COVID level, according to global data from social analytics company Socialinsider.
The CPM across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Audience Network channels was $5.31 in August 2020, up from a $3.80 low in April and in line with December 2019's $5.61. This is also the highest level recorded this year.
