Google Shopping adspend up by a third in Q3

An overview of the performance of Google Shopping and text ads in the United States in Q2 and Q3 2020.

Advertiser spend on Google Shopping ads has grown by one-third in the United States for the last two financial quarters, according to data from performance marketing agency Tinuiti.

Spend on Shopping ads grew by 34% year-on-year in both the second and third quarters of 2020. In comparison, growth in advertiser spend on text search ads slowed from 33% in Q2 to 21% in Q3.
