Grab: #KitaVsCorona

Grab, a ride-hailing and delivery brand, launched its campaign #KitaVsCorona (Us vs Corona) in Indonesia to boost the brand during the uncertainty of the pandemic.

COVID-19 is a crisis of a generation. Many lives were lost, unemployment rose, and businesses shattered as a result of the pandemic. For Grab, our business too was heavily impacted. Demand for ride-hailing services dropped significantly due to social distancing and movement restriction measures. Fear of contracting COVID-19 from external sources like restaurants saw a dip in food delivery orders as consumers opted to cook at home rather than order in from restaurants.

Social distancing and changes in consumer behaviours have led to a fall in income for our driver-partners, delivery-partners and merchant-partners. Pressure was mounting for Grab to help....
