ITV advertising revenue drops 43% in Q2, retail adspend down 57%

ITV has seen "the most severe decline in the history of ITV" in its advertising revenue as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, according to the latest company reports.

The UK's largest commercial broadcaster saw advertising revenue decline 43.3% in the second quarter of 2020, down to £245m. This compares to a 41.3% decline for the total TV market estimated by the AA/WARC Expenditure Report last week.
