Mentemia: App Launch

Sir John Kirwan, a mental health advocate and All Black world champion, and Adam Clark, a tech entrepreneur, developed and launched Mentemia, a mental wellbeing app in New Zealand.

Goals and objectives

Mentemia – Italian for "my mind" – is a mental wellbeing app created by long-time Kiwi mental health advocate and world champion All Black, Sir John Kirwan, tech entrepreneur Adam Clark and an expert team of medial advisors.

When COVID-19 started to impact all aspects of Kiwis' lives, it put a spotlight on the importance of mental wellbeing. Kirwan and Clark made the decision to create a new public version of Mentemia and launch it free to five million Kiwis in just seven days.
