Whether they're eight or 80 years old, 28 million South Africans rely on WhatsApp to stay connected. As 15.5 million are MTN customers, we seized the opportunity to change the way people live and work – allowing them to recharge their cell phone data in 30 seconds, without a bank card or even leaving WhatsApp. We helped MTN become the first telco to use the WhatsApp Business API to engage consumers.
