Every year, pharmaceutical leader Novartis organizes an internal regional event, during which senior management from the LACAN region (Latin America and Canada) meet to establish strategic business priorities.

In 2020, Mexico was selected to host the "Launch Excellence Summit"; however, just two weeks after being selected as host, the COVID-19 pandemic changed the world forever.
