Introduction
To help end the vector-borne transmission of Chagas disease, the foundation Fundacion Mundo Sano (FMS) has been implementing, since 2005, a Program called Vector surveillance and control program with sanitation improvements on rural houses in places near the city of Añ, in Santiago del Estero —the Argentine province with the highest prevalence of Chagas disease: more than 200,000 affected people.
