IndiGo, an airline in India, launched campaigns to enhance trust by strengthening the narrative around the safety of air travel.

Situation Analysis

The largest airline in India and one of the top 50 airlines globally as per Brand Finance ranking 2019, IndiGo had a market share of 48% in February 2020. And then the pandemic hit. Sudden halt of operations owing to a national lockdown from March 25 dried up IndiGo's revenue stream. The halt in operations also meant none of the expansion plans took flight and the airline would be back to the drawing board when operations resumed.

Meanwhile, panic around air travel had taken hold, as discovered through an IndiGo customer survey in June. So once operations resumed...
