Kiko Network, a Japanese non-governmental organisation and member of the Climate Action Network, used its 20th anniversary as an opportunity to tackle climate change and inspire environmental organisations around the world to work together more closely.

Objectives

Japanese NGO Kiko Network, a member of the global Climate Action Network, was looking to mark its twentieth anniversary for lasting effect.

With US President Donald Trump announcing his intention to withdraw the US from the Paris Climate Agreement, the climate change crisis was becoming more urgent than ever before. Yet despite the vast number of environmental NGOs/NPOs around the word, each organization navigates its own (sometimes conflicting) course, and few substantive results have been achieved.
