Although Tinder creates meaningful connections for billions of people every week, 'ghosting' and 'catfishing' can often own the narrative when it comes to dating apps. Tinder needed to make a bold move to demonstrate to millennials—its prime audience—that the majority of its users were having fun and connecting with new people.
