The gap between mobile and desktop digital activity has widened this year, according to data from Comscore. Mobile devices are increasingly limited to leisure activities while desktop focuses more heavily on work.
Social media accounts for one-third (32.2%) of all mobile consumption and has grown its share from 2019 levels. However, it accounts for just 4.6% of desktop activity and has fallen since last year.
