An overview of growth in Tencent's revenue in 2020.

Tencent gaming revenue has accelerated its growth rate this year as income from advertising shows weaker performance, according to the latest company reports.

Revenue from online games rose 44.8% in the third quarter of 2020, the quickest growth since 2017 and topping ¥40bn for the first time (¥41.4bn). Social network revenue, helped by the game-streaming platform Huya, also rose 28.9%.
