More brands are using emojis in their marketing than ever before. According to a report by mobile app engagement provider Appboy, brands in 2016 sent 461 percent more mobile messages containing emojis than in the previous year, going from 145 million to 814 million. The report, which also surveyed U.S. and U.K. mobile phone users 14 years old and older, found 39 percent of respondents think brands that use emojis are fun, and 13 percent...
