Three times more women use Pinterest than men

An overview of Pinterest penetration by gender in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, the UK and the US.

The majority of Pinterest users are women, according to the latest research from AudienceProject. In a survey of 13,000 internet users across six European markets and the United States, 33% of women said they use the platform. This compares to just 11% of men.

This gap is largest in the United States, where one-half (49%) of women use the platform but just 16% of men do. Finland also reports a large gap in usage – one-third (34%) of women use the platform compared to just 7% of men.
