One in two American adults under 50 have deferred a major purchase due to the COVID-19 outbreak, according to the latest data from Nielsen.
Plans to purchase major products, those over $500, have not been cancelled completely, though.
Almost 80% of 18 to 49 year-olds plan to make the postponed purchases within one year of restrictions being lifted, while 16% percent plan to make them within the first three months.
