A third of UK football fans want exclusive content

An overview of consumer interest and planned activities among UK football fans.

The UK football season has returned and in terms of other ways to enjoy the sport, fans are most interested in exclusive or behind the scenes content, according to an August survey from the IPA and Rare: Consulting.

Nearly one-third (29.8%) of football fans in the UK say they are interested in this kind of content, the most popular additional way of enjoying the sport. This rises to 35.5% among those who consider themselves as super-fans and 32.1% among female fans, but is less popular among older audiences.
