The cost per thousand (CPM) ad impressions on Facebook has fallen year-on-year for the second month, according to the latest data from Socialbakers. Australia registered the greatest drop at 22.5%, while the US and UK fell by 4.2% and 3.8% respectively. This year-on-year drop is also visible in September, with CPM down in Australia (-17.5%), the US (-4.8%) and the UK (-0.1%). This widespread fall is also visible in Facebook cost per click.
