One in three adults is engaging more with social advertising

An overview of adults engaging with social media ads more since the coronavirus pandemic began across 17 markets.

Almost one in three adults (30%) say they are engaging with social media ads more since the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak began, but this varies widely across the 17 markets surveyed by YouGov.

This is highest in India (56%), Indonesia (54%), China (52%) and the United Arab Emirates (51%) where at least one-half of adults say they are paying attention to or interacting with social media ads more since the pandemic began.

However, more consumers disagree with this statement than agree in 10 of the 17 markets.
