Emerging economies spending more time online via mobiles

An overview of mobile online time in BRICS countries between 2012 and 2018.

Emerging economies are spending three and a half hours on their mobile each day on average, according to the latest data from GlobalWebIndex. Average time spent browsing the internet on mobile in the BRICS grouping reached 3:32 (hours:minutes) in 2018, up two hours from 2012. This contrasts with total media consumption, which fell for the first time in 2018.
