Podcast listeners in the UK and US are most likely to consume content when relaxing, according to the latest data from GlobalWebIndex. Nearly two-thirds of listeners consume podcast content in their downtime/free time during the week, by far the most popular response.
Listening before sleeping is also popular, at over one-quarter of respondents. While driving (23.6%), exercising (23.1%) or commuting (20.8%) all top one-fifth. In the US, just under one-third of adults have listened to a podcast in the last month, with news, politics and specialist topics being most popular.
