Half of Brazilians expect to shop online more after COVID-19

An overview of online and shopping behaviour in Brazil after the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak ends.

One-half (48%) of consumers in Brazil expect to shop online more frequently after the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, according to the latest data from GlobalWebIndex. This is the highest response across seven online behaviours. Two-thirds of consumers in Brazil say free delivery will be more important to them in the future.

One-third (34%) of Brazilians also say they will exercise at home more frequently after the outbreak ends. Using food delivery and mobile payment services more also prove likely to last in the long-term, with 31% of consumers saying so.
