Cinema data are provided by Nielsen Ad Intel and are drawn from a rate card survey.
Data are net of discounts and include agency commission and classified advertising, but exclude production costs.
At the start of 2019, Nielsen carried out a complete overhaul of its methodology for tracking advertising spend across each media channel (newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, cinema and out of home). Data back to 2015 have consequently been revised and are not comparable to previous years....
