The pandemic has altered the way consumers shop, resulting in brands having to adapt how they go-to-market for most consumer businesses, from food, electronics, appliances, health and hygiene, fashion etc. COVID-19 forced consumers to shift their focus towards “essential” categories like food and groceries, health and hygiene, consumer technology, home appliances and online education, while significantly reducing their spends across non-essential categories like travel, fashion and transportation.
