Clubhouse is a new place for brands to play, but it may not be the future of social audio

According to Pandora’s Definitive Guide to Audio, the average time spent listening to digital audio – including streaming music and podcasting – actually increased by 32% from January to June of 2020, and sales of Bluetooth headphones, speakers, and soundbar sales skyrocketed in 2020 to $7.5 billion – a 20% increase from 2019.
