As we entered 2021, analysts were already predicting this to be “the year of Augmented Reality” based on the upward trend in adoption from 2020 of this technology that merges the real word with the virtual one. In the US alone, there were 85 million active users of AR, so it’s no surprise that it – along with other digitally native technologies – saw unprecedented growth in usage while the world stayed home.
