Background & Context
Since 2018. in spring and summer Otsuka Pharmaceutical Calorie Mate has been conducting communication that supports students who devote themselves to their school club activities. However. the project was hurriedly changed for summer 2020. taking into consideration the significant impact of the spreading coronavirus on students' routines: the pandemic resulted in school closures and cancellations of various sports events including the interschool athletic meet and all-Japan senior high school baseball tournament.
The Calorie Mate team decided to make an ad that should be produced especially for summer 2020.
