Vodafone helps reunite lost children with their parents using technology

Vodafone, a telecommunications company, reduced the number of missing children during the Sabarimala pilgrimage in India by producing scannable identification tags that would reveal the child's location.

Yearly, 65,700 children are lost in India! More than 80% of them are never found (Source- CRY). As per Ministry of Home Affairs-More than 31% of these incidents happen atTirupati, Vaishno Devi, Sabarimala, Mahakal and other pilgrimages.
