How Walgreens reached out to cancer patients who needed beauty advice

Walgreens, the pharmacy retailer, used its “Feel More Like You” campaign to meet the needs of cancer patients who wanted to look their best.

One of the many horrid consequences of COVID-19 is that routine treatments for cancer and other conditions have plummeted in the United States since mid-March 2020.

But Walgreens, America’s second-largest pharmaceutical chain, is stepping up its efforts to care for cancer victims, even as annual diagnostic panels and screenings have fallen by as much as 68% nationally (and by even more in Coronavirus hotspots).
