Cartoon Network, a cable and satellite television channel, increased local relevance in the African market by introducing South African singer, Toya Delazy, as the fourth PowerPuff Girl.

The Powerpuff Girls (PPG) is Cartoon Network's most enduring original series about three super-cute and super-fierce little girls who are juggling school and saving the world before bedtime.

The original series, created by Craig McCracken, first premiered on television screens in 1996 and it was not long before it was awarded two Emmy® Awards, along with countless animation honours throughout its 78-episode run.
