Huawei: A not so bad year for Huawei

Huawei, a mobile phone brand, reacted to the crisis in the US where the Trump administration had banned it from communications networks by launching a crisis cabinet that produced articles and opinion pieces across Europe that shone a positive light on the brand.

BCW has recently managed the crisis of the company whose origin lies in the trade war between the US and China. A war, without foundations or evidence, with its cornerstone set in the deployment of 5G networks.

The issue began in early December 2018, following the arrest of the CFO and the daughter of the company's founder, Ren Zhengfei. Since then, Huawei has had to protect its reputation and brand image among all its stakeholders, especially with US banning Huawei from US communications networks and pressuring both other governments and media to share negative information and statements of Huawei....
