Subscription services saw a widespread increase in popularity last year, according to a survey across 12 markets from subscription management company Zuora.
Over half (53%) of adults surveyed said they were interested in a TV and movie on-demand subscription service, up from 46% in 2018.
This growth extends beyond entertainment services – the share of adults interested in grocery delivery services reached nearly one-third (30%) and meal delivery services reached almost a quarter (22%).
