Most Instagram and TikTok users are female, men prefer YouTube

An overview of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube audiences by gender.

More than half of Instagram and TikTok's user base is female while YouTube's audience leans towards men, according to data from influencer marketing management company HypeAuditor.

For Instagram, 53.6% of its users are female and 46.4% are male. This gap rises even higher for TikTok, where 56.8% of its audience is female.
