Campaigns from Harley-Davidson in Canada, Maybelline New York in Ukraine and Pepsi in Vietnam are among the 20 that have been shortlisted for the Effective Channel Integration category in the 2018 WARC Media Awards.

Examples of how sophisticated communications architecture has helped boost campaign effectiveness come from a wide variety of sectors, including tourism, brewing and personal care as well as automotive, soft drinks and cosmetics.

The Asia-Pacific region leads the way with nine papers, followed by EMEA with seven and the Americas with four.

The WARC Media Awards are a comprehensive set of awards covering four categories, including Effective Channel Integration, with a total prize fund of $40,000 to reward pioneering communications planning which has made a positive impact on business results for brands around the world.

Gold, Silver and Bronze winners for the highest-scoring cases will be awarded across the four categories, with a $7,000 Grand Prix for the best paper. Judges will also grant three $1,000 Special Awards in each category.

The shortlist for Effective Use of Data has already been announced. Shortlists for the remaining categories will be announced in the coming weeks.
