For December, Best Buy was the brand that achieved the biggest uplift in Ad Awareness, according to YouGov's BrandIndex.

Best Buy had a fresh start this year. In May, the consumer electronics retailer unveiled a new logo and an ad campaign focused on customer service, which did very well among shoppers. In fact, data from YouGov Plan & Track shows that this year the brand reached its highest customer satisfaction score since 2015.

For this holiday season, Best Buy launched a new series of ads following the same black-and-white format,  with the exception of the vivid blue shirts worn by the employees, who help customers find the perfect holiday gifts for their family and friends.

These ads seem to have given Best Buy a boost among consumers. New data from YouGov Plan & Track reveals that, so far, the retailer has experienced the largest rise in Ad Awareness during the month of December. The brand’s Ad Awareness score (whether someone has seen an advert for the brand in the last two weeks) went from a low of 33% in early November to a high of 43% in mid-December.

Additional data shows that Best Buy is one of the leading brands in perceived value among a group of national retailers. The brand took the third spot in YouGov’s top 10 holiday retail list measuring which stores consumers thought offered good value for their money.
