Objective

While for a long time, thanks to the Lazy Mekong and fast development, Covid was kept at bay for the better part of the pandemic. The situation turned worst in 2021 and the virus started spreading quickly through the nation scrambling for basic health care and infrastructure.

The most vulnerable groups were those with livelihoods depending on their ability to go out and earn their daily wage. Going out and physical distancing were the very thing Covid restrictions were hindering them to do.
