Their Dutch branch faces growing public scrutiny, due to the combination of a negative reputation of animal testing in general (e.g. on social media, in general media, in politics and active public debate), and their closed off facilities - installed to safeguard the million-euro-investment innovations they research for their clients. The voting behavior of the Dutch parliament has even started to reflect this widespread, yet somewhat uninformed, opinion and could start to influence CRL's business continuity.
