The global gaming audience is set to reach 3.07bn by 2023, according to the latest forecasts from analytics platform Newzoo.
The number of players reached 2.55bn in 2019, an increase of over a quarter (28.1%) from 2015's level of 1.99bn. Growth is expected to slow after 2020, with a 20.4% increase expected between 2019 and 2023.
