The number of orders and the value of items sold via social platforms in Southeast Asia grew by triple-figures in the first half of the year, according to research from customer acquisition tech company iKala.
In H1 2020, the number of social commerce orders across Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and the Philippines rose 116% compared to the first half of 2019. The value of those orders, gross merchandise volume (GMV), rose by 307%.
